Traditional ranch house with many dividing walls was redesigned into a transitional, open-concept space with additional living areas and bedrooms. The problematic angled walls that once closed in the kitchen and living space were removed, capturing new space to create a large, cohesive combined kitchen, living, and dining areas. The old guest bedroom suite at the back of the house was converted into a mudroom, utility, and powder bath with direct access to the pool and outdoor living. The old utility space became a home office and command center, featuring a bold wallpaper accent wall. Two new bedrooms and a bath were created out of the existing garage which resulted in a split-bedroom arrangement for the house. A new free-standing garage and attached outdoor kitchen and living space was built in the back yard. The master suite was also updated with new finishes and layouts.
